 Do you know where to find the best fall festivals? If not, then Educator Helper can help you with lots of free fall activities for kids and adults! 

First check out Country Living magazine--okay, so it's really for adults, but the list is full of large festivals across the U.S. 

Where to look for children's Fall festivals? There's no link here because you need to check your local Chamber of Commerce, schools, and religious institutions to get the best free events in your area. 

Also, check out churches, daycares, schools, hospitals, and your community/neighborhood centers to find the best fall festivals in your local area.

Homecoming FREE Activities

It's time for Friday night lights and homecomings! 

Back during the day (for me that would be the 1970s), we built real, ol' fashioned floats: the kind that had chicken wire stapled onto wooden floored, iron framed trailers. They required detailed planning and lots of man hours and were true works of art that competed for a first place win with year long bragging rights.

Homecoming Day was special, especially in our rural town where Friday night lights meant a uniting of our community and school. We cheered for a common goal--a home team win.
