New Conspiracy Theory Readers Needed

It's that time of the year when my English composition students are posting their conspiracy theory essays, and we need readers! If you're willing to help us out, venture on over to:

Posting written work to a blogspot encourages students to produce better essays. They direct family and friends to the blog to view their works. Also, it works great as a portfolio for many of the students. It takes their writings to another level! Of course, some of the writings and oral presentations are better than others, but it's a learning process for all of us.

New conspiracy theories are being loaded daily this week, so check back every evening for new essays and presentations.

If you find yourself in need of something to talk about during the holidays, then head over to our conspiracy theory blog

Enjoy the conspiracies!

'Tis the Season

Do you find yourself singing along to Christmas tunes this time of the year? Holiday songs are everywhere--in the stores, on the radio, and in television commercials. If you're looking for commercial free Christmas tunes, try Houston's KODA SUNNY 99.1. It'll have you humming a holiday tune in no time!

It's easy to get caught up in all the hoopla and lose sight of the real meaning of the season. But, there's lots of holiday themed activities that encourage students to spread cheer and goodwill. It's important to include and reinforce giving and sharing when planning lessons. Another great way to help others this time of year is by volunteering. Lots of communities host holiday dinners, and servers and cleaners are needed. Also, there are toy drives that need extra elves to help sort, wrap, and deliver gifts. Encourage students to give during the holiday season!

This holiday season help set the mood and get students talking about sharing by using themed music along with writing activities that can be given to others. A gift from the heart is one worthy of sharing.

Here's free Educator Helper holiday themed activities to make and share with others:
